Dates use your device's local calendar, so a result is the same day wherever you are. Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. US federal holidays follow the observed date: a holiday on a Saturday is taken on the Friday before, and one on a Sunday on the Monday after. Adding a month to the 31st lands on the last day of a shorter month, and leap years are handled, so 29 February plus one year gives 28 February.
About this tool
This date calculator answers the two questions people actually type: what date is 90 days from today, and how many days between two dates. Put a start date in, choose a number and a unit, and it returns the exact date with the weekday, the ISO week number, the quarter and the day of the year. Switch the unit to working days and it skips Saturdays and Sundays, and with the holiday box ticked it also skips the eleven US federal holidays, using the observed date when one falls at a weekend. The second tab counts the gap between two dates and splits it into working days, weekend days and holidays, then shows the same span in weeks and in months, with a live countdown for a date still ahead. Underneath, a table works out the common intervals from your start date in one go: 7, 10, 14, 15, 20, 21, 28, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 365 days, each with the day of the week and whether it lands on a weekend or a holiday. Three things most date calculators leave out are handled here. You can copy a link that reopens the same calculation, download the result as a calendar file so a deadline lands in your diary, and read a plain answer on the edge cases: counting starts the day after the start date, adding a month to the 31st gives the last day of a shorter month, and 29 February plus one year gives 28 February. Everything runs in your browser using your device's local date, so no timezone shuffle changes the answer.
How to use
For a future or past date, keep the first tab. The start date defaults to today, so change it only if you are counting from another day. Type the amount, pick days, working days, weeks, months or years, and choose After or Before. The result shows the full date and what kind of day it is. Use Copy date for the text, Copy link to share the exact calculation, or Add to calendar to save it as an .ics file. For the gap between two dates, open the second tab and set From and To. Tick "Count the end day as well" if your deadline includes the final day, which matters for notice periods and rental agreements. The holiday checkbox applies to both tabs and only affects working-day counts.
